Accessibility statement

01Standard we follow

This website has been designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This statement covers the two pages of the website: the home page and this accessibility statement.

They are built for people who use a screen reader, who work by keyboard alone, who magnify the screen, who speak to their computer, or who apply their own colour and text settings.

02What we have done

Structure and keyboard

• Every page has a clear structure of headings and landmarks, and a “Skip to main content” link as its first stop.
• Everything can be operated with a keyboard alone, and every link, button and control shows a clear outline when it has keyboard focus.
• The photo gallery on the home page opens in a viewer built for keyboard and screen reader use: Previous, Next and Close buttons, the left and right arrow keys, Escape to close, and the number of the photograph you are viewing shown beside them.
• Both pages also work without JavaScript: the menu stays open and each gallery photograph opens directly. Only the Accessibility options panel needs JavaScript.

What you see

• Every photograph and image has a text description. Decorative icons and ornaments are hidden from screen readers.
• All text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background, and the buttons, control borders and focus outlines you need to see in order to use a page at least 3:1. Fine decorative lines are never used to identify anything, and no text is placed over a photograph.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% and the pages work on screens as narrow as 320 pixels without sideways scrolling.
• Movement is limited to short transitions and is switched off automatically if your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing flashes, plays automatically or has a time limit.

Options and privacy

• Where JavaScript is available, the “Accessibility” button at the top of the page offers larger text, high contrast, underlined links and the option to stop animations. Your choices are stored on your own device — not in a cookie, and never sent anywhere — and apply to every page of this website.
• These two pages set no cookies and use no tracking, analytics or third-party content. Even the fonts are served from this website itself.

03Known limitations

• The website is currently available in English only.
• One gallery image is a computer-generated architectural visualisation rather than a photograph. It is labelled “Architectural visualisation” and its text description says so.

05How the website was assessed

This statement was prepared on 20 September 2026, and describes the website as it stands on that date, including its current design. It was assessed by self-evaluation: automated testing with axe-core across both pages, together with manual checks of keyboard operation, focus visibility, colour contrast, text enlargement, reflow at 320 pixels and reduced-motion behaviour. The website has not yet been tested with a screen reader or by people with disabilities.
